Note types help you organize and limit access to notes added to individual records. Note types become security access rights as soon as they are created. If you want a Fellowship One user to have access to a particular note type, you must edit the user's security access rights and grant them permission by selecting the check box beside either Individual Notes or the single note type the person needs to access.
When a note is added to an individual's record, a note type must be selected. This allows you to pull reports that show notes by type rather than notes as a whole.
Note: You must have Administrator security rights to perform the following procedure.
To create note types:
You must now assign security the note type as a security right to user records or to one of your security roles.
As mentioned previously, note types become security rights when they are created. You can allow access to all note types or specific note types as needed.
Note: You must have both Security Officer and Administrator rights to modify user access rights.
To assign security rights to notes:
